RACING OFFICIALS:

It is a matter of great pride and satisfaction that for the first time, in the history of the Mysore Race Club Limited, MRC Officials were included to take larger responsibilities into the main-fold of the racing administration:

a) Mr. K G Anantharaj Urs - Stipendiary Steward

b) Mr. M R Jagannath - Assistant Handicapper

c) Mr. P Srinivas Yadav - Assistant Starter

STAKEMONEY:

For the year 2002-03, the ever highest Stakemoney in the history of the Mysore Race Club Limited in a year was advertised and the same stood at Rs.4,60,06,739 (Rupees Four Crores Sixty Lakhs Sixty Lakhs Six Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirtynine).

OPERATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS-HIGHLIGHTS:

  1. The Club registered a record investment of Rs.61,21,790 at the totalizators with a record attendance of 4549 on an On Course Race Day on The Kingfisher Mysore Deerby 2002 Day, the race for which was held on Sunday, the 20th of October, 2002.
     
  2. Investment at the totalizators was also an all time record in the history of Mysore Race Club Limited as far as Inter Venue Betting Operations are concerned with an amount of Rs.41,31,760 with a record attendance of 2963 when IVB was conducted over Mumbai Derby Day Races on Sunday, the 2nd of February, 2003.
