FACILITIES TO THE PATRONS:
Additional 2 Water Coolers have been provided for the
public apart from installation of 13 new Betting
Terminals at the Bookmakers' Ring.
ADMINISTRATION:
Computerised Attendance Recording System has been
introduced both for Officers/Staff and also, Race Day
Temporary Employees with effect from December,2002,
with a view to accelerate the efforts in inculcating
discipline in Time Management.
CCTV
OPERATIONS:
A hard disc for recording Races with instant recall of
Races has been added for viewing of Races in the CCTV
Room. This comes in handy for the Stipendiary Stewards
to closely monitor the archives as well as the actual
running of a Race.

Mysore Race Club Club House with the Chamundi
Hill forming the backdrop. The club house is a
picturesque beauty and when you enter the
lawns of the MRC, you feel as if mother nature
has taken you into her arms to soothe you.
Gone is the hustle and bustle of City Life.
The cacophony of City traffic is left far
behind. All you hear is the chirping of the
birds and the buzzing of the bees. Could one
ask for a better setting? Mysore Race Club
Club house has an elegant multi-cuisine
restaurant, a barbecue, bar and elegantly
furnished rooms.

The Canteen for the public has been
refurbished. Marble flooring, steel tables and
chairs have been provided.

Salient
Features:
Development of the Totalizators
The combining of the totalizator pools of
Mysore with that of Bangalore Turf Club via
V-SAT has resulted in better dividends. This
is just the first step and we look forward to
centralisation of the betting pools with all
other Centres. Several bottlenecks have been
removed by introducing additional counters to
facilitate easy separate access. Separate
payment dividends of Rs.500/- and Rs.300/-
have been introduced for the public.
Live Telecast of Mumbai and Bangalore
Races:
Another feather in the cap of the Mysore
Race Club is the down-linking of Mumbai and
Bangalore Races via satellite. This has
generated tremendous enthusiasm among the
Racegoers. Mysore Race club is also
contemplating for uplinking of its races and
beam it to all intervenue betting centres -
Another step in the right direction.

STABLES
With
racing being held around the year, the need
for additional Stables has been increasing.
Keeping this in mind, 28 Stables have been
newly built and will be ready for occupation
during the ensuing Mysore main Racing Seasons.
NEW
JOKEYS ROOM
With
the increase in the number of Race Days and
the consequent increase in the number of
Jockeys coming to Mysore, the existing Jockeys
Room was found Inadequate. Therefore, a new
Jockeys room with all modern facilities such
as Sauna and a host of others has been
incorporated for the use of Jockeys. It will
be ready for use from the ensuing Mysore
Racing Season.
TRACK
The
Inner Sand Track has been widened to
accommodate number of Racehorses to use the
track during the morning track work.
Additional
pop ups have been Installed to improve the
Sprinkler Irrigation System so as to cover the
entire width of the Racing Track.
